Hi there. Me in a nutshell! (or not...)

I’m Sofie. I’m 23 years old and I live in a small village in the very north of Belgium. I finished my BA English & Dutch Literature - Linguistics at Leuven University last year. In a few months I'll finish my MA in Business Communication. Scary! I'm thinking of doing another MA in Journalism next year but the thought of writing another thesis is putting me off.

I’m generally a happy person with a very silly sense of humour. I laugh a lot, some people say I’m too easily amused, but that’s just me really. I'm a dreamer and I have the attention span of a spoon.

I can be quite shy around people I don’t know + I'm not very confident, but please don’t think I’m arrogant. I’ll open up and talk more once I get to know people. I can be quite loud and hyper, though I also have my quiet moments when I would just like to be left alone for a bit. I’m friendly, honest, and a good listener. I don’t like to upset people, and I like hugs. I’m insecure, too sarcastic, and quite stubborn.

I play the piano and the guitar, which I love. I can be quite creative sometimes, I love writing songs and stories.

Apart from my music, I love books. You can always find me with my nose in the newest Ahern or one of the Twilight saga books. Or Austen, she's a favourite too.

I love travelling. Shame it’s so expensive, but I love seeing new places and meeting new people. My family are very important to me, as well as my friends.

I love McFly and I love Supernatural, which have been my main obsessions for a while. Twilight and Rob Pattinson are pretty high on the list too, as well as Shia LaBeouf.
